Leading Light

Château de Ferrand has been a leading light among the great Bordeaux wine estates for three hundred years.

In 2012 Ferrand won a deserved recognition for the unanimously acclaimed quality of its wines when the estate was awarded Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé status. This ranking also rewards châteaux that have been able to develop their architectural heritage and make it available to wine-lovers. This is certainly the case of Ferrand, where the vines are set around a stunning 17th-century château. The ancient woodland has been preserved, creating a magical environment enhanced further by a truly magnificent view over the Dordogne Valley.

Ferrand has fully restored winemaking facilities and a unique function/tasting room. Everything here is designed to appeal to wine-lovers, wine professionals and visitors from all horizons. Tasting sessions are given by a sommelier, while the accompanying cuisine is refined and always perfectly matched to the range of vintages on offer.
