Making bubbles in Mendoza
A fun scouting of Argentina's current sparkling wines scene. Our first hosts, at Cruzat Wines, are self-defined by the balance between classic and modern techniques and the excellence in the application of the traditional method ("champenoise"), together with the talent to skillfully vintage wines made from Pinot noir and Chardonnay grapes. At the winery you will take part in the 'making bubbles' process as you add the "liqueur de tirage", and participate on other aspects of the production, bottling and labeling.
We will follow with the grandeur of Chandon Argentina, with its endless vineyards and impressive bodega. We will tour the facilities and enjoy a lunch paired with sparkling wines, hosted by Bistró Chandon's head Chef, Matías Gil.
